What types of project are suitable?

Applications to use the facility are invited for patient-oriented clinical research projects that are at any of the following stages of development:

• Research projects with confirmed or awaiting confirmation of external funding
• Research projects in the protocol development stage, which are to be submitted for external grant funding
• Pre-protocol and pump-priming projects requiring further development prior to application for external funds
  

Criteria

Applications should meet the following criteria:

• The proposed research should be of a high quality, demonstrating significance, feasibility and appropriate design, methodology and analyses
• Demonstrate how the use of the WTCRF would offer 'added value' to the study
• Fully identify the funding sources for the various cost elements of the study
